Letters of Support
The following letter was written by K. Snider, Teacher at Rosedale School of the Arts. Kim and I have worked collaboratively on a variety of projects over the years in drama and education. This past October, 2014, we presented a workshop for teachers in Ottawa for the Council of Drama and Dance Educators entitled: “Where the Ground Speaks-Historical Inquiry through drama” based on Toronto’s St. John’s Ward.
The following letter was written by my former Principal C. Zwicker Reston at Vaughan Road Academy where I taught for 12 years and where the first group of students participated in the Historical Thinking Missions Project. Ms. Zwicker Reston has always been a supporter of innovative teaching practice and creative inquiry-based learning.
The following statement was written by my former colleague at Vaughan Road Academy Ms. G. Choi. Ms. Choi’s Grade 10 Canadian History students participated in the Historical Thinking Missions Field Trip to the St. John’s Ward. Ms. Choi was a great facilitator of this project with her students.
